• Long-term time series assessment of sustainable development (data: 2002 – 2014) by Wadden Sea Forum based on 35 key indicators: Sustainability Indicator Tool • Existing comprehensive conceptual framework provided by Telos: Waddenbarometer employing 101 performance indicators
• Cooperation Wadden Sea Forum, Waddenacademie, Telos, the Brabant Centre for SD and School of Sustainability of Christian-Albrechts- Universität zu Kiel •
• Based on 3P (= capitals) and stocks are defined • Primary data is scouted and aggregated into indicators, which are assigned to the corresponding requirements • Norms are applied to all indicators based on national and international laws and agreements as well as expert judgement to facilitate quantitative evaluation • By applying these norms scores are generated and sustainable development is qualitatively evaluated
