By SeafoodSource staff 02 March, 2011 Chinook (king) and coho salmon from the Alaskan Seafood Producers Cooperative (SPC) have received Friend of the Sea (FOS) certification.
The SPC represents more than 757 fishermen and employees who catch salmon using the troll method by catching one fish at a time. Non targeted fish are seldom captured and the seabed is World Headlines not impacted by trolling.
