By SeafoodSource staff 02 March, 2011 Chinook (king) and coho from the Alaskan Seafood Producers Cooperative (SPC) have received Friend of the Sea (FOS) certification.

The SPC represents more than 757 fishermen and employees who catch salmon using the troll method by catching one fish at a time. Nontargeted fish are seldom captured and the seabed is World Headlines not impacted by trolling.
