STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN MUATAN LOKAL KE-NU-AN DI SMP DIPONEGORO SAMPANG KABUPATEN CILACAP Nur Syaiful NIM. 1522402153 ABSTRAK Mata pelajaran ke-NU-an merupakan mata pelajaran tambahan yang masuk dalam kategori mata pelajaran muatan lokal sebagai upaya pelestarian amaliyah paham Ahlussunnah wal Jama‟ah bercorak NU yang dilaksanakan dalam bidang pendidikan di madrasah. Mata pelajaran muatan lokal ke-NU-an dijadikan sebagai dasar untuk memahami pengetahuan berupa ajaran dan budaya keagamaan yang sudah berlangsung lama dalam masyarakat dan dipercayai oleh masyarakat bahwa amalan ibadah tertentu boleh dan baik untuk dilakukan. Oleh karena itu, peneliti merasa tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian mengenai pembelajaran muatan lokal ke-NU-an guna melihat secara jelas pelestarian amaliyah Ahlussunnah wal Jama‟ah yang bercorak NU di SMP Diponegoro Sampang Kabupaten Cilacap. Dalam penelitian ini, permasalahan yang dikaji adalah apa saja strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan dan bagaimana penerapan strategi pembelajaran tersebut pada mata pelajaran muatan lokal ke-NU-an di SMP Diponegoro Sampang Kabupaten Cilacap. Adapun tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menjelaskan macam-macam strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan dan bagaimana pelaksanaanya dalam pembelajaran muatan lokal ke-NU-an di kelas VII A SMP Diponegoro Sampang Kabupaten Cilacap. Dalam menjawab rumusan masalah yang ada, peneliti menggunakan penelitian lapangan (field research), dengan pendekatan penelitiannya adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, subjek penelitiannya adalah guru mata pelajaran ke-NU-an. Objek penelitiannya adalah strategi pembelajaran muatan lokal ke-NU-an di kelas VII A SMP Diponegoro Sampang Kabupaten Cilacap. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan dalam menganalisis data menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat tiga strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan pada mata pelajaran muatan lokal ke-NU-an di kelas VII A SMP Diponegoro Sampang Kabupaten Cilacap yaitu strategi pembelajaran ekspositori, kontekstual dan kooperatif. Dalam penerapannya, guru mengutamakan penggunaan strategi ekspositori untuk menyampaikan materi dan mengkombinasikan dengan strategi kontekstual dan strategi kooperatif kelompok.     HANS BAGUE JASSIN HANS BAGUE JASSIN was born in 1917 in the small port city of Gorontalo on the northeastern coast of Sulawesi ( Celebes), in what was then the Netherlands East Indies. Sulawesi's population consisted pri­ marily of farmers and fishermen.JASSIN's family was an exception. Bague MantuJassin,JASSIN'sfather, was a Gorontalese of modern leanings. Having taught himself Dutch, he had obtained a position as customs clerk with the local Dutch colonial administration. However, at the time his son HAMZAH (later changed to HANS) was born, he was unemployed. For this reason he left his wife, Habibah, the followingyear and went to Borneo to work for Bataviaasch Petroleum Maatschappij (BPM), the large Dutch oil conglomerate. Young JASSIN was thus entrusted to the care of his gentle mother. Mother and son lived with her parents and extended familyin her parents' home. Her fatherwas a teacher in Malay schoois and Habibah was educated, probably through secondary school. She spoke Malay, which is the basis of, and almost interchangeable with, Indonesian, and Gorontalese, the local language spoken in her home. JASSIN'sfondest memories of his childhood are of his mother's bedtime folktales and lullabies. She also spoke to him often of his father who would one day come for them. Bague Jassin came home in 1924 after six years of absence. JASSIN remembers well the appearance ·one day of a fine gentleman in white who came up to him as he played in the village. "I ran away but he caught me," he relates, "and we went together to the house of my mother." Reunited, the familymoved to Balikpapan, a company town on the coast of East Borneo, and settled into new lodgings in the BPM compound.

    TOWARD A CLASS ANALYSIS OF THE INDONESIAN MILITARY BUREAUCRATIC STATE* Richard Robison Contrary to the expectations of modernization and developmentalist theorists, the historical experiences of Europe and North America have not been reproduced in the postcolonial societies of the Third World.* 1 The spread of capitalism has not been accompanied by the emergence of liberal democratic bourgeois states. Instead, the development of capi­ talism has resulted in the growth of military bureaucratic states. Nowhere are these developments more clearly illustrated than in the case of Indonesia. Since the formal transfer of sovereignty in 1949 and, in particular, with the acceleration of large-scale foreign corporate investment that began in 1967, the entrenchment of the m ili­ tary bureaucratic state has been intensified. Explanations of the for­ mation of elites and of the state in Indonesia have generally been based on such factors as ideology, political culture, or the structure of palace politics. It is my contention, however, that a more funda­ mental explanation lies in the capitalist transformation of the Indo­ nesian economy. While it is true that the ownership of capital in Indonesia re­ sides primarily with foreigners and a domestic Chinese bourgeoisie, neither group can aspire to the position of ruling class in the full social and political meaning of the term. We must therefore turn our attention to the structure of a s li social and political power, above all in New Order Indonesia. I will argue that capitalism has produced four distinct types of bourgeoisie in contemporary Indonesia and that power struggles under the New Order reflect the competing interests of these groups.

For the last decade, political democratization figured as a core theme of public discourse under the authoritarian New Order polity.2 Political society insisted on the need for improving human rights accountability, eliminating ABRI's praetorian political intervention, and—more generally—for broadening space for political participation.
