8. Database. WWOZ renewed its contract with Convio, and in the process, added a merchant account feature and increased its allowed e-mail count by 25% without incurring the fees usually associated with these upgrades.

9. WWOZ Digital Deployment Team. During January the digital content team archived highlights, in memoriums and live broadcasts from 2011, updated all of the Jazz Fest, Mardi Gras, and Takin’ It to the Streets (second lines and Mardi Gras Indian) seasonal information. Also during the past month, a new Coventry series was launched: This is My New Orleans. Internet material was updated including the New Orleans All the Way graphic user interface. In the area of content management, best practices have been instituted to accommodate web, homepage, facebook and twitter content updates as we move into our busiest time of the year. Thank you for this great show. I was opening the website to let you know that I was enjoying the show when I heard you say that "Southern Nights" is maybe your favorite Toussaint song. I planned to tell you that "What Do You Want the Girl To Do?" was my favorite, and before I could find your email address, you played my favorite. Thanks again. Great show. Thank you.

22. Correspondence (Continued)

As loyal listeners on-line we've been wanting to send this email for quite some time, especially since Bob Meurat-Rare-on-the-Air became the full-time Wednesday night D.J. While we were very sad to learn Billy Dell is on extended leave, we were ecstatic to hear Bob had taken over his spot. All the times he and Billy worked together we really enjoyed their synergy and especially Bob's incredible knowledge of local artists.

What a pleasure for 2 people who for years called New Orleans our "second home" and now must get our nola "fix" from the wonderful line-up of programming. We remember hearing WWOZ way back in your early days every time we would get back to your city.

Thanks again for having "Mr. Rare" as our Wednesday night New Orleans connection. Please let him know there are at least 2 people out there who love him and are just....800 miles up the River!

With warmest wishes to ALL at WWOZ,

Sue and Les Clyde
