3. Mark Volterre: Director of the health club by Hilton has hosted and organized Local, Regional and National Table Tennis, Volleyball, Martial Arts, Fencing, Tennis, Speedminton, Dodge Ball, Squash, Basketball and Soccer events at the host club for the past 20 years.

Martin Del Vecchio: Director of the New Orleans Table Tennis Club, National and Colligate Table Tennis Player has organized several Table Tennis Tournaments in several states including the New Orleans Open Table Tennis Tournament recently held here at the health club by Hilton.

Virginia Slims Tennis, SEC Men’s In Door Tennis Championships, Nokia Sugar Bowl Tennis Tournament (ITF RATED LEVEL 1: Andy Roddick’s last amateur tournament), Southern Senior In Door Tennis Championships, 6 Regional Volleyball Tournaments PY, USTA Leagues, 5 Martial Arts Tournaments PY, the US Open Speedminton Championships (1000pts), Mardi Gras Squash Open, the New Orleans Open Table Tennis Championships and many more during the clubs 35 years of Sporting Event hosting.

Competition Venue

The health club by Hilton court space includes 8 courts (4 courts on each side)

Plus we have the Observation Deck that over look’s all courts (great for spectators while they eat or just watching). We have our snack bar on the deck with seating and tables.

Each court is 117 feet four inches long and 60 feet 4 inches wide X 8

Competition courts would be played on SPORTCOURT (ALSO USED FOR VOLLEYBALL, SOCCER, BASKETBALL ECT.

Practice courts would be on the Plexi Pave surface we have on our Tennis side. This would separate the practice courts from the competition courts (less distracting and still be only 4 seconds away from tournament side).

Ceiling height of the facility as you see from the pictures is great = 60+ feet with 60+ candle power

No distracting windows and the ringing around all the courts is a dark green backdrop’s We are doing a total renovation of our locker rooms this August, so they will be pleased with brand new locker room facilities (including of course facilities for that will include SAUNAS AND WHIRLPOOLS FOR THE PARTICIPANTS/INCLUDING TOWELS AND LOCKERS. And yes we will have brand new handicap facilities. We have 650 members plus guests so the Locker Rooms are adequate size as we events with 800 people. Locker rooms are located seconds from the playing area.

Vendors can be located at the playing area or on the Observation Deck area

Any sound system would be rented from the hotel

Movable Seating can be both on the tournament floor and on the Observation Deck. With such space 1000 persons is good.

We have 2 sets of elevators for entrance and exit so we set up a table at entrance to check in any players or visitors for control measures (wrist bands or stamps a good idea if you are charging)

We have an $8.00 event rate for visitors and the players staying in the hotel would get a discounted rate for overnight parking per final contract with Sales.

Our Observation Deck bar serves sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos and cheese, chips, muffins and sodas/water and sport drinks with seating area that over look’s playing area.

The referees/officials will have use of a room located 14 feet from playing area

As a health club our locker rooms and sports facility of course has janitorial services everyday

Hilton Staff are CPR trained AND WE HAVE 2 AED MACHINES AT OUR CLUB + HOTEL SECURITY + A POLICE STATION ON PREMISES

The hotel has 2 restaurants and a coffee shop (serves Starbuck coffee items), we have over 50 located anywhere from across the street to 2 blocks AND THE FRENCH QUARTER IS 4 BLOCKS AWAY. 7. Registration would take place in a small ball room just 20 feet away from elevators that would go to playing area and club. This separation helps in control measures also. 8. Check out at 12pm..Check in anytime from 3pm 9. Complimentary internet access in the lobbies of the hotel 10. Comp rooms not known as yet per further details. 11. The hotel has a Business Center, 2 HOTEL POOLS, THE LARGEST HEALTH CLUB IN ANY HOTEL, 2 RESTURANTS AND IS CONNECTED TO THE RIVER WALK SHOPPING MALL, THAT ALSO INCLUDES LARGE FOOD COURT.

BANQUET

Banquet space would be located in our hotel and your expected numbers would not be a problem.

Dinner would be an event related expense. Cost would be determined be Catering and your needs.

Airport is 20 minutes away from hotel with normal traffic.

MEDIA COVERAGE

1. Several members of the table tennis club have marketing and public relations experience. Two weeks prior to tournament, press releases will be sent to local newspapers including but not limited to: the Times Picayune, The Gambit Weekly, Where Y”AT, WWOZ, WWL, Invade NOLA, Cox Cable and of course our health clubs web site. The day following the event a summary with photographs will be distributed to the same media outlets. 2. NOLA Table Tennis Club is proud to partner with the health club by Hilton as well as Play NOLA, which have a proven track record of success in hosting and publicizing Regional and National sporting events. 3. Through a comprehensive marketing strategy that involves all media forms, we anticipate reaching at least 50,000 individuals in the Gulf Coast region. One of the Table Tennis Club members works for the largest advertising company in Louisiana. 4. NOLA Table Tennis Club is a new club, and as such, is currently working towards recruiting more members and generating excitement in our area about table tennis. This becomes an asset in promoting the NCTTA Championships as we are already trying to increase our audience by reaching out to media outlets, as well as utilizing social media and guerilla marketing techniques to create a buzz about table tennis.

1. Yes, we have several members with graphic design experience. 2. Yes, we feel confident that we can either help defer the cost of printing or get this service donated.

VOLUNTEER PLAN

1. New Orleans is a city with a strong ethos of community service and volunteerism, which we can capitalize on in hosting your event. One of our club members has extensive experience in volunteer recruitment and coordination and will assist us in these efforts. There are numerous organizations within the city, such as Volunteers of America and Hands on New Orleans that host electronic volunteer calendars that we can highlight our event on. Additionally, there are many AmeriCorps members who need service hours in the city who would be interested in helping out at our event. Many of our members (NOLA TTC) have already pledged to become certified as umpires in order to support the event. 2. We also expect support from the TT clubs from Baton Rouge, Shreveport, Gulf Port and possibly Houston.
