Parks and Community Centers For family special events and business gatherings, Lakewood’s parks and community centers offer indoor rooms for rent. Rental fees include tables and chairs and some facilities have kitchens and food preparation areas. Monte Verde Park

Mayfair and McCormick pools offer party packages that include organized Providing Open Space activities, staffing and lifeguards. www.lakewoodcity.org/recreation Picnic shelters are reservable to Lakewood residents for outdoor gatherings. All picnic shelters are covered and include picnic tables and barbecue grills. Some shelters have sinks and a preparation table. There is not a charge for Lakewood residents to reserve a shelter. Reservation requests must be completed in person at the park for which the reser- vation is desired. Picnic Reservations are accepted two months in advance of the requested date and no less then 72 hours in advance. Proof of residency required.
