98° E 100° E Mogaung The EU funded Shan State Peace, Reconciliation and Development Programme is delivered by a Waingmaw consortium of partners co-ordinated by the International Labour Organisation (ILO), including Save the INDIA Myitkyina Children International (SCI); the Aids Support Group (ASG); the Maggin Development Consultancy CHINA Group (MDCG) and the Ethnic Peace Resources Project of the Foundation for Local Development (EPRP/FLD). The Programme works across Shan State.
Momauk Activities under the Programme seek to contribute to three specific objectives i) to provide opportunities for local communities, including women and children, to engage in peace and reconciliation processes, supporting inclusive peace processes; ii) supporting children affected by armed conflict and iii) facilitating participatory development in conflict-affected communities, based on community Shwegu THAILAND empowerment.
