She believes “your image starts with your hair.” About Our School About Our Course Located in the Westshore of Victoria, BC, Gibson’s is the first Barber School on Vancouver Island. We provide industry leading training that prepares our students School Hours to enter the high demand art and skill of Barbering and personal grooming. Sunday 9-5 pm Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 5:30-9:30 pm In our 7 month Barber Diploma Program students will graduate with the essential skills and confidence needed to be a leader in the Barbering industry. Program Length 7 months (30 weeks) Skills taught include hair styling techniques such as cutting and texturing, fades, buzz cuts and layers. We also focus on trimming, shaping and caring for beards Tuition & Fees and moustaches. Because being a Barber is not only about providing quality cuts but it also involves the customers, at Gibson’s students will also cover everything Tuition $7500$7,000 (+tax) from client consultation to the workings of the business. Kit $1500$1,200 + tax Application Fee $250$250 (applied to your tuition) Class size is kept at a 8:1 student to teacher ratio. At Gibson’s we pride ourselves in knowing that each and every student will gain an invaluable education and leave being prepared to excel in this high demand industry of Barbering. Payment Schedule: Application Fee $250$250 (applied to tuition) 50% before classes start $3750$3,250 + Kit 50% when school begins $3750*$3,500* * May be paid in 2 installments, contact school for details Requirements Applicants must be one of the following: • 18 years of age or older. • Have grade 12 certification or the equivalent. • Prospective students must first meet the requirements of the admissions policy before the enrollment process can begin.

Enrollment involves the following procedures: • All applicants must complete and sign a Gibson’s School Student Application Form. • All applicants must present at least one valid piece of photo identification (ie. BCDL, BCID, Passport or equivalent). • All Applicants must pay a $250.00 non- refundable deposit upon acceptance into the course of study. • All cheques are to be made payable to Gibson’s Barber Shop & School. These funds are applied against the student’s first month of tuition upon actual commencement of their course. Course Content During your first month you will be training exclusively with mannequins.
