Membership services and publications The annual dues of the Association for 2010 are 45 euros for full membership and 22.50 euros for student membership. They should be paid to the Treasurer, International Phonetic Association, Department of Applied Linguistics, School of Languages and European Studies, University of Reading, Whiteknights, Reading RG6 6AA, UK. Life membership is obtainable by paying the equivalent of twenty years’ annual dues, 900 euros. A membership application form is printed overleaf. Membership includes a subscription to the Journal. Payment can be made by credit card using the on-line facility at: http://www.langsci.ucl.ac.uk/ipa/subs.html Members receive three numbers of the Journal each year. Contributions are subject to review and to the Editor’s final decision as to publication. The primary language of the Journal is English, though contributions in other languages of wide scholarly currency may be accepted.
