INFORMATION IN CASE OF QUARANTINE CAN YOU SPEND YOUR QUARANTINE IN YOUR STUDENT DORM/FLAT? Make sure in advance if your accommodation in Graz is suitable for quarantine by checking with your housing provider. You will need a separate space/room and bathroom/kitchen area during your quarantine time. If this is not possible, please organize another suitable accommodation for the time of your quarantine. Entering hotels or similar accommodation as a tourist is still prohibited. However, when using tourist accommodation or a hotel is an urgent necessity – if, for example, there is no other way to comply with the quarantine rules – then it is allowed. WHERE CAN YOU GET TESTED? Ending quarantine early with a negative PCR or antigen test can take place on the fifth day at the earliest (depending on the valid regulations). You have to cover the costs of the test yourself, however free testing is offered at Messehalle Graz. The testing station at Messehalle Graz (Messehalle A, Messeplatz 1, 8010 Graz) is permanently open. If you don’t have symptoms, you can get tested there with a COVID-19 rapid antigen test free of charge. You can register for a test via the registration tool or by calling +43 800 220 330. There are some medical facilities/laboratories/pharmacies which carry out COVID-19 tests in Graz (only possible without symptoms, costs depend on the type of test): • MEDIUS (PCR tests and rapid antigen tests) • HYGIENICUM (PCR tests) • Labor Dr. Tiran (PCR tests) • Selected pharmacies (rapid antigen tests): Sonnen-Apotheke, Adler-Apotheke, Apotheke Waltendorf, Bären-Apotheke, Landschaftsapotheke, Bahnhof-Apotheke, Herz-Jesu Apotheke, Apotheke Andritz, Purpur- Apotheke, Apotheke Liebenau, Apotheke “Am Grünanger”, Lebenskraft Apotheke, Apotheke Puntigam, Apotheke “Zum Heiligen Petrus”, Apotheke 8052, Peter-Rosegger-Apotheke If you have COVID-19 symptoms, please call the health hotline +43 1 1450 to receive information on the next steps.
