Encountering, becoming and sharing the Presence, Love and Peace of Christ

A Week of Highs and Lows, wrien by Fr. Will Thompson M TJ_7 will be live streamed I had no inside information. Holy Thursday - 7pm This is a lot to take in, but here’s the point: even outside of our normal experience of God’s grace in the Good Friday - 12pm Sacraments, we can still know the presence and mercy Holy Saturday - 8pm of God. I urge each of you to work this week toward gaining an indulgence, if not for yourself, then for Easter Sunday - 10am someone else, and know the generous mercy of God!

After all, isn’t that what this Holy Week is about? Jesus came to save sinners. Walk alongside Jesus as he gives himself to us throughout this week. There were certainly many lows for him, as there are for us. But it all leads to the greatest high of all: the Resurrection!

Sincerely Yours in Christ,

Weekly Gospel Reflecon Quesons We celebrate Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord this weekend, and it may be hard for some to celebrate without palms in our hands. Of course we know that the celebraon isn’t about the palms, but going without a tradion can be hard. Please know that we’re holding onto the palms and will share them as soon as we can gather together. The prayers and scripture readings remind us that the liturgy is really about Christ’s passion—his willingness to suffer for our salvaon and the forgiveness of our sins. We’re also reminded this week that is coming to a close and the Resurrecon is nearing. 1) What have you learned about yourself this Lent? 2) What have you learned about your relaonship with God?
