Online Claim System Program Eligibility There are several unemployment programs available during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

This information is to help you figure out which program you may apply for when your current benefits run out.

Please go to the Online Claim System and select Status of Initial Claim and Other Account Details. logging in, select How much time and money do I have left on my claim? to see your current program status. This screen provides helpful information about your current claim status. You can see:

• Regular unemployment • PUA • PEUC • EB How to Use the Benefit Calculator Under Regular Unemployment Insurance (UI), your weekly benefit amount is determined based on your income (from employment) during your “base” year. The base year is a one-year period made up of the first four of the last five completed quarters. It is based on the date you file your claim application, not the date you become unemployed.

If you don’t qualify for a claim using a regular base year (RBY) you may still qualify for an alternate base year (ABY) using the four How to use the most recently completed calendar quarters. A calendar quarter is a 3-month period ending March 31, June 30, September 30 or Benefit Calculator December 31. If you qualify for either a RBY or ABY, you must file a Regular Unemployment Insurance (UI) claim.

To determine whether you may qualify for regular UI benefits, please use the benefit calculator and enter your earnings during the quarters specified. After you have entered your earnings, select Click Here to Estimate Your Payments to see your potential weekly benefit amount. You may apply for regular UI benefits by visiting our Online Claim System. Please select Regular UI Initial Claim to begin filing your unemployment claim. The Online Claim System will only allow you to backdate your claim one week. If you want to backdate your claim beyond one week, you must call the contact center to file by phone.

There are several ways to file for the Regular UI Benefits Extension (PEUC) program.

1) If you are currently claiming benefits on a claim that has not yet expired, you will be asked to file for PEUC when you claim the first week after your claim balance reaches $0.

IMPORTANT: You will not be able to file for PEUC this way if you did not claim the week prior to your claim balance reaching $0. How to file for PEUC

2) You may also apply for PEUC by visiting our Online Claim System. Please select Regular UI Benefits Extension (PEUC) to submit your application through secure upload. The PEUC application only allows you to claim for one week of benefits.
