About Hursley The Hursley Laboratory is one of IBM’s premier worldwide software development sites and is IBM’s largest software development facility in Europe. The Lab is situated within 100 acres of beautiful parkland, which IBM took ownership of in 1958 to create a centre of innovation. Today the Lab and its 2800 staff have responsibility for the worldwide development of many of IBM's strategic software solutions. The IBM Hursley Executive Briefing Centre is located in the site’s historic 18th-century Hursley House, a Grade II* listed building, a wonderful venue in which to enjoy your visit.
