Workshop Rationale
The Practice Education Workshop is intended to provide registered multi-professional staff possessing mentorship / practice education qualifications with the opportunity to meet face-to-face. This will allow discussion of the fundamental issues when supporting students in practice.
The workshop will cover the main discussion points required, and will also provide the opportunity for staff to discuss issues they have experienced personally and share good practice. This forms part of the on-going development and support of Mentors / Practice Educators and links closely with NMC / HCPC requirements. NB: For nursing and midwifery registrants, the workshop will contribute to the NMC requirement for triennial review.
