Our annual SPARC festival has continued to grow from strength to strength with SPARC 2018 taking place during the extended Festival of Research. The month-long programme showcased the research being carried out across the University of Salford, with the focus week taking place between 2 - 6 July at MediaCityUK where students were able to get involved with some of the flagship events. The festival brought together academics, students, industry and the public to discuss and develop the future research strategy. At the heart of the festival was the Postgraduate Research flagship conference SPARC, where festival goers enjoyed performances, music, family friendly fun and opportunities to meet with students and staff, share research interests and experiences.
