3. Organizational issues 3.1. Location and registration The conference takes place at the ‘Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LifBi)’ located in the Wilhelmspost in room 104 (R104) on the first floor.

Registration will be possible throughout the whole duration of the conference. The registration desk can be found in front of R104.

3.2. Length of the presentations The conference will last two days and each research project will have 45 minutes for presentation and discussion. The presentations should be given in English and should last 20-25 minutes to leave ample time for discussion.

Please keep in mind that all papers and/or presentations have to be submitted to spp.neps@uni- bamberg.de by December 1, 2014, at the latest. Individual agreements with your paper discussant are possible, but in this case, you have to inform Nora Skopek via e-mail to spp.neps@uni- bamberg.de.

At the final conference, a renowned international expert in the field of educational research will discuss each presentation. The presentation of comments shall not exceed 10 minutes in order to leave time for comments from the audience.

3.3. Audio visual equipment The meeting room is fully equipped with a laptop and beamer. Please note that we do not have adapters or cables for Apple products.

3.5. Meals, coffee and tea breaks Coffee, tea, and sweets will be served during breaks. Unfortunately, lunch meals cannot be provided but we can recommend the following restaurants in close vicinity to the conference venue:

Joint dinner A joint dinner for the participants of the SPP colloquium will take place directly after the conference presentations on Monday, December 15 in the rooms of the LifBi. Please consider that it is necessary to register for the dinner in advance.

3.7. Reimbursement of travel costs For regular conference participants travel costs will be reimbursed after the conference. It is very important that you carefully preserve all original receipts and invoices.

Please note that we are not able to reimburse the costs of taxi or travel insurances and any exceptions should be discussed and approved in advance. Moreover, any travel cancellations or costs related to lack of conference participation cannot be reimbursed.
