All lines cross the central station “Bertoldsbrunnen”. The conference venue at the Faculty of Biology is reached via line 2 (direction of Zähringen, station “Hauptstrasse”). • Biking The easiest and fastest way to get around in Freiburg is actually via bicycle. If you come via coach you might consider bringing your own bike or you can rent one either via your hotel or at: Radstation (from 45 € for 5 days), right at the train station (website in German only: http://www.freiburgbikes.de/) There may be also the option via the “Deutsche Bahn”: https://www.callabike-interaktiv.de/index.php?id=423&f=500

Congress venue The conference will be hosted at the University of Freiburg, Institute of Biology 1, Hauptstraße 1 (cf. Maps5+7). From the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) you can get there: 1. By foot: about 20 minutes via Bismarckallee, Stefan- Meier-Straße and Rennweg (cf. Map5) 2. By tram lines 1, 3, or 5 direction “Bertoldsbrunnen”; get off at “Bertoldsbrunnen” and change for tram line 2 (direction “Reutebachgasse”, Zähringen); get off at station “Hauptstr.” (cf. Map6+7)
