 Paper: A local Whig meeting manuscript (two pages, circa 1834) held in Albany, New York by a nominee for the State Assembly. The manuscript references a future Whig convention to be held in Utica, New York. The document lambasts Andrew Jackson (referred to simply as General) while claiming the Vice President lacks any political influence. There is a transcript that accompanies the document.
