10 APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Application for admission: It takes up to 8 weeks until you get your admission leter.

For the winter semester: 15th June (recommended 15th May at the latest!)

For the summer semester: 15th December (recommended 15th November at the latest!)

Application for a visa: 3 months (and more)

The entire application process takes at least 5 months.

. No tuition fees! . Monthly living costs for rent, food, health insurance, clothes, phone, books, etc.: ca. 861 € per month . Living expenses per year: 10,332 € (to deposit in a blocked account for the visa process) . Semester contribution (Student Services, Student Union and the public transport): About 230 € every semester!

Working permission: Student having a residence card for studying are allowed to work part time (120 full days or 240 half days a year)
