American Announces New Seasonal Nonstop Flights Between Boston (BOS) and Traverse City (TVC), Expands Service to New York’s LaGuardia (LGA)

(Traverse City, Michigan) – (TVC) is pleased to announce that is once again expanding its seasonal summer schedule, adding new nonstop service to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). Beginning June 5, the new non-stop route will operate five-times weekly on an Embraer E175 with 76 seats in a two-cabin configuration.

In addition, American also announced plans to expand flights to New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA) from weekend-only to daily service.

“As more customers look for opportunities to get away, American is eager to expand travel options to the Traverse City region,” said Brian Znotins, Vice President of Network Schedule and Planning for American. “In-airport and on board, our team has taken every effort to ensure the well-being of customers throughout their travels while offering more flexibility and choice than ever before.”

TVC Airport officials and American are working together to make it easier for customers traveling to the Traverse City Region. This summer, American will offer a total of 11 peak daily flights from TVC to hub markets across the country, which also includes:

• Daily year-round service to Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) • Daily seasonal service to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), beginning May 6 • Daily seasonal service to Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), beginning June 3 • Seasonal weekend service to Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA), beginning June 5
