Cornarea, The Cornarea Winery is located within the territories of Canale, a town in the heart of the Roero, a small hilly region that borders with Le area. Cornarea was born in 1975, when 12 hectares of land were planted with grapes, the aim of which was saving and giving new life to this historical, indigenous . Cornarea, still now, follows the same philosophy and only makes wine with local grapes, Arneis and .

Cornarea owes its name to the hill where its vineyards are to be found and that has been known with this name since the year 1000: on its top, the unmistakable Villa can be seen, built at the beginning of the last century. It towers over the 15 hectares of vineyards that produces the Estate . Cornarea is run by two generations: Francesca Rapetti and her husband Piero Bovone, with sons Gian Nicola Bovone as enologist and elder son, Pierfranco Bovone, managing sales and marketing.

Arneis DOCG (12 x 750 ml) Arneis grapes find in the Roero area a very special site - the variety had almost disappeared but was recovered and cultivated again on the Cornarea hill. The wine has an original and intense aroma of white flowers and fruits such as pear, peach, pineapple and passion fruit. The same sensations appear again in the mouth, amplified by a full and harmonic taste deriving from its great structure. The aftertaste is rich and mineral, thanks to the presence of magnesium, which is to be found abundantly in the Cornarea hill soil. It then blends with the body fruity taste, thus providing a well-balanced elegance.

Roero DOCG (12 x 750 ml) In the Roero, the land that stretches on the left bank of the river, the Nebbiolo grapes produce a much appreciated and sought-after wine that takes its name from the place where it is produced. The Roero wine is a wine that combines a rich structure with moderate and elegant tannins. Roero was named granted DOCG status in 2005, thus becoming the third Nebbiolo DOCG in the Langhe-Roero area, together with and . The perfume is well defined and complex, with a spicy hue and a balsamic eucalyptus aroma. It includes scents of plum, violet, morello cherry and licorice root. The wine is warm and tasty, with an elegant structure and light tannins. It is pleasant, fruity and mellow, with an elegant and persistent base of berry jam and a mineral aftertaste.
