Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information 02/28/2018 26000 W Twelve Mile Apartment Door Victim states sometime between 9:00am- 4:00pm 4:27pm (Apartments) was forced open. someone forced entry into his apartment through the main apartment door. Once inside the apartment suspect(s) removed several electronic items and jewelry. Note: There have been three other incidents in a nearby building since December 2017. This incident is possibly related to the other incidents due to similar characteristics. Electronic items, jewelry and clothing were taken in all the incidents.

From: 03/04/2018 23000 Bellwood Dr. Entry was through Officers responded to alarm at residence. 3:00pm the kitchen Officers discovered good . Entry was To: 03/04/2018 window. through kitchen window. Suspect(s) used a patio chair, 4:42pm climbed up and pulled open the unlocked, partially open kitchen window. The suspect(s) then pushed in the screen and climbed into the house leaving dirt and water on the kitchen counter and floor. It appears that the alarm scared suspect(s) away. The alarm was tripped at 4:42pm. Nothing was missing from the residence.

Color WHI - White When Officer attempted to stop vehicle, it fled Vehicle Year S/B on M-10 from Evergreen Rd. 2001 Body Style State The pursuit continued S/B on Southfield Fwy to MI Description 7 Mile Rd. where the vehicle exited the freeway WHITE FORD RANGER Recovered Date/Time and went E/B on 7 Mile Rd. 02/26/2018 3:10am The pursuit ended at this point when the Officers & suspects’ vehicle bumpers locked together. Officer waited for additional units to arrive and the driver was taken into custody without incident. After the suspect was taken into custody it was later learned that the pickup truck was a stolen vehicle. Victim (Southfield Resident) came into the police station to report his vehicle (Ford Ranger Pickup) was stolen from his driveway this morning. Vehicle was taken with keys. It was also learned that the suspect had a lengthy criminal history including Auto Thefts. Southfield Detectives interviewed the suspect. He doesn’t remember who gave him permission to drive the car and he doesn’t remember fleeing from the Police??

Model 8:00am AVALANCHE Upon running the vin# through L.E.I.N. it was Color BLK - Black discovered the vehicle had been recovered and Vehicle Year impounded by DPD @10:19pm. 2007 Body Style State No further information at this time. MI Description Motor Vehicle 02/27/2018 10:19am Status 03/02/2018 25000 Grodan Dr. I - Information Only Officers were on routine patrol when they came 2:40am (Apartments) Manufacturer across two vehicles with their lights on in the CHEVROLET Model parking lot of the Apartment Complex. State MI The driver had a jacket over his head and License Year 2018 appeared to be sleeping. Description The vehicle came back as a confirmed stolen out BLUE CHEVROLET IMPALA of local jurisdiction. Officers made contact with the driver. The driver was run through Lein & SOS. He came back with numerous warrants out of several local jurisdictions. His license was also suspended. When Officers advised suspect, he was under arrest for R&C Motor Vehicle he resisted arrest and Officers had to use the necessary force to affect the arrest. Suspect was taken into custody.

Status 03/02/2018 24000 Telegraph Rd. S - Stolen R/P, (Representative from Car Rental) advises 12:56pm (Car Rental) Manufacturer suspect rented an Ford Escape on 01/15/2018 Ford Model and was to return the vehicle on 01/30/2018. Escape Color Letters were sent to suspect but the vehicle was GRY - Gray Vehicle Year never returned. 2017 Suspect has been identified and incident is under Body Style 4D - 4 Door investigation. State PA License Year 2018 Description ESCAPE

Status 03/02/2018 24000 Telegraph Rd. S - Stolen R/P, (Manager for Car Rental) advises suspect 12:53pm (Car Rental) Manufacturer rented vehicle on 01/30/2018 and was to return 2017 Model the vehicle on 01/31/2018. Chrysler Color Letters were sent to suspect but the vehicle was GRY - Gray Vehicle Year never returned. 2017 Suspect has been identified and incident is under Body Style VN - Van or Panel investigation. State FL License Year 2018 Description GRY VAN

Status 03/04/2018 19000 W Ten Mile Rd. S – Stolen & Recovered Victim states sometime between 8:00am- 12:29pm (Church) Manufacturer 1:15pm while at Church in the 19000 Block of TOYOTA Model Ten Mile Rd, someone stole his vehicle. CAMRY Color Victim had left his keys in his jacket which he had WHI - White Vehicle Year hung up near the Sunday School Class. 2009 Victim states his Handgun was also left in the Body Style State MI vehicle under the front seat. Description WHITE 2009 TOYOTA On 3/4/2018 Victim came into the station and CAMRY 4DR reported he had recovered his vehicle in front of

a residence in Detroit. (Suspect lives there)

A member of the church advised victim that his

son had taken his vehicle. The handgun however wasn’t recovered.

Status 02/26/2018 19000 W Twelve Mile S - Stolen On 2/26/2018 at approx. 4:45pm, Officers were 4:30pm (Pharmacy) Description dispatched to Pharmacy in the 19000 Block of 1- Bottle of Tylenol with Codeine Elixir Twelve Mile Rd for a larceny call. An unknown B/M jumped over the pharmacy counter and stole a half full bottle of Tylenol with Codeine Elixir and then fled the store on foot. Suspect Description: Last Name SUSPECT First Name UNKNOWN DOB (Age) 20 Sex M Race BLACK Build Thin Height 6' 0" - 5' 10" Weight 130 Attire Black Hoodie, Black Pants

02/28/2018 26000 American Dr. Victim’s wallet containing Representative from Hotel states they were 10:01pm (Hotel) Cash, ID & Credit Cards. reviewing their surveillance video because a customer reported his wallet was taken from the front counter. R/P observed victim leaving his wallet on the counter when checking in and Security Guard was seen taking the wallet and placing it in his pocket. R/p advised the head of security who then spoke with suspect reference the incident. Suspect denied the larceny and R/P decided to notify police. Officer arrived on scene and reviewed surveillance video. It was clear that the security guard took victim’s wallet. Victim is unsure if he wants to prosecute because he is from out of town. The wallet was not recovered. Suspect (Security Guard from Hotel) has been identified and incident is under investigation.

03/03/2018 27000 Northwestern Cell Phone was taken. Officers were dispatched to a fight in progress at 7:25am (Hotel) Hotel in the 27000 Block of Northwestern. Officers arrived on scene and interviewed R/P and victim. Victim had obvious injuries to her head and face. Life Unit was on scene treating victim when she had a seizure. Victim was transported to the hospital. Officers investigation revealed that victim and another hotel employee went to a Guest Room on multiple complaints about a disturbance in the room. It was later discovered that the person that rented this room was a prostitute and she had invited two subjects to her room. Suspect Description: Suspect #1: B/M 6' 4'' early 20's wearing black jeans, jacket and shoes. short facial hair. Suspect #2: B/M 5' 9'' early 20's wearing black jeans, jacket and boots. Suspect#1 became violent and started to destroy the hotel room when he was denied sex by the prostitute. When victim and another hotel employee showed up at the room Suspect# 1 hit victim and knocked her up against the wall and to the floor. Suspect#1 then started to stomp on victim’s head. It wasn’t until victim pretended to be dead that Suspect#1 stopped his on victim. The second employee, fearing for his safety and fellow workers safety fled to the front desk to call 911. It was reported that Suspect#2 took the prostitutes cell phone before leaving her room. Both suspects fled in a Silver Vehicle. Victim had several injuries but was in stable condition at the hospital. The suspects were not located at the time of reporting. This incident is under investigation.

03/04/2018 26000 Telegraph Rd. Cartier Glasses were Victim advised on 02/27/2018 at approx. 8:00am 12:02pm ( Commercial - Fast Food) taken. he arrived to work at Fast Food Restaurant in the To: 02/27/2018 29000 Block of Greenfield Rd and placed his 8:00pm Cartier Glasses in his black book bag which was left in the employee waiting room. Victim states at approx. 8:00pm he went to retrieve his glasses and noticed they were missing. Victim notified his manager who stated that the three-other employee’s that were working with victim had already left for the day. Incident is under investigation. Stabbing Investigation: Felonious Assault- 1- Arrest 03/03/2018 7:26pm 02/28/2018 7:19pm 26000 Block of Telegraph Rd. 20000 Block of Lahser Rd. Citizens can prevent this from happening by scheduling a specific time to have the package delivered and be waiting for the package. Citizen can also schedule the package to be picked up by themselves at the common carrier facility.
