ELIGIBILITY OF CANTEEN FACILITIES : TA PERSONNE
1. Refer this Dte letter No 54317/GS/TA-3 dated 11 Jun 200 A number of policy letters, pertaining to entitlement of CSD 2. facilities to TA personnel have been issued from time to time. This Dte had taken up a case with DDGCS to include certain, left out categories of TA personnel for entitlement of CSD facilities, which have now been included. Therefore, as per policy on the subject the following categories of TA personnel are entitled CS D facilities vide AO 2/2006/QMG & HQ, as amended vide QMG's Br letter No 96001/Q/DDGCS dated 10 Oct 2007 (Copies enclosed) :-
(a) TA personnel during embodiment (while physically serving in unit).
(b) TA personnel who have completed minimum five years of physical service honourably with regular TA Bn are authorized in service/honourable all canteen facilities while discharge/retirement.
(c) TA personnel in receipt of Gallantry Awards and disability pension attributable to military service (CSD facilities including liquor as per authorization. (DA IA

Reference pars 6 of the Army Order 2/2006/QMG.
Amended pare 6 may be read as under:-
(a) TA personnel during embodiment (while physically serving in unit).
(b) TA personnel who have completed minimum five years of physical service honourably with regular TA Bn are authorised all canteen facilities while in service/honourable discharge/retirenient.
(c) TA personnel in receipt of Gallantry Awards and disability pension attributable to Military service (CSD facilities including liquor as per authorisation).
(d) All departmental and non-departmental personnel of TA when they remain on the physical strength of TA unit. (Liquor and AFD items are not authorised) .
