INVITATION TO 59th INTERNATIONAL “AMBER OARS” REGATTA

With this letter, we kindly invite your team to take a part in 59th International Regatta “AMBER OARS” held in Trakai on 25th-27th June 2021.

Venue address: Trakai Rowing Sport Centre, Karaimu str. 73, Trakai.

Team Manager‘s meeting and Draw starts on Friday 25th June at 11:00 and will be organized in the Information centre, main building of the Rowing Centre, ground floor.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION:

Entry deadline for teams is 17th of June, 2021. 17:00 Please use ENTRY Forms as provided in attachment and fill in all required fields. Crew changes should be done using CREW Change form (can be found in www.lif.lt in Amber Oars regatta event page). Filled Entry forms must be sent via email to: [email protected] Late entries will not be accepted! The start program of the competition will not be changed. Regatta schedule: Preliminary program is in attachment. Friday (25th June):  11:00 team managers meeting;  14:00 Heats, qualification to Saturday finals. If event will have less than 8 crews participating race for lanes will be organized and is mandatory for teams willing to race on Saturday. No race for lanes will be organized on Sunday. Saturday (26th June):  09:00 team managers and masters' team leaders meeting (conference hall);  11:00 finals (A, B, or C if event has more than 18 crews); Sunday (27th June):  09:00 Heats, qualification to Finals (A or B final if event has more than 12 crews);  12:00 Finals A or B. Awards All Saturday winners will be awarded with some special presents or Cups, and prize- winners will be awarded by medals. Sunday regatta is sponsored by Trakai district Municipality. Prize-winners will be awarded by medals. MASTERS' STARTS Saturday (26th June): • 16:30 (time will be adjusted later, the start program will be specified) masters' starts in the distance of 1000 m. Sunday (27th June) - LIKF Sprint: • 16:00 (time will be adjusted after adjusting the start program) LIKF sprint starts in the distance of 250 m (applications are submitted on the spot, after paying the start fee). MEDAL EVENT If, after the deadline for submission of entries, one crew is entered in the event, the event will be canceled. If there are two crews in the entries, only the first place will be awarded. If there are three crews in the entries, the first two places will be awarded (this item does not apply to masters' starts). ENTRY FEE FOR ELITE ROWERS Entry fee apply for rowers and masters' /per a seat per event is – 5 euro. (Payment should be done via bank in advance until 17th June). Please note that entry fee for Friday-Saturday (one fee) events and Sunday (second fee) events are separate. Please note, that entry fee apply for coxswains as well. Late entry fee is 10 euro (late payment is done after 17th June or on place in cash). Entry fee collection on place is due on Friday, 25th June till 10:00 in the Information and Draw room, main building, and ground floor. Unpaid entries are withdrawn. CREW RECALLS AND CHANGES Crew cancellations in the regatta can be submitted until June 23. inclusive. If the crew is cancelled, the entry fee paid will not be refunded, unless the team or crew is cancelled upon presentation of a medical certificate that the Athlete has fallen ill after the submission of the application. If cancelled on presentation of a medical certificate, the entry fee already paid may not be used to offset the payments of new crews after the application deadline.
