Include design, materials, condition, alterations, size, setting, and boundaries) This is a 1-story commercial building in the Craftsman style built in 1923. Exterior walls are original weatherboard. The building has a low side gable roof and one gabled dormer. The main elevation is divided into four bays. The two outer bays have multi light casement windows. The inner bays each have a pair of single pane casement windows. The primary entryways to each unit are on the east and west elevations.

Also address integrity.) This property was constructed in 1923 as a single-family home. It is ineligible for listing in the National Register and California Register or designation as a West Hollywood Cultural Resource through survey evaluation (6Z). It does not appear to meet the criteria for significance under national, state, or local landmark programs. No information was found indicating that the property is historically, culturally, or architecturally significant in West Hollywood. The northern half of this block bounded by Hilldale Avenue, Keith Avenue, Robertson Boulevard, and Santa Monica Boulevard is said to have been associated at different times with silent film star Norma Talmadge and interior designer . Research in newspaper archives, magazine archives, city directories, census data, available books, and other miscellaneous sources did not indicate any credible link to actress Norma Talmadge or her husband Joseph Schenck to this area. Research did indicate that famed interior designer and set designer was associated with the industrial property at 812 Robertson Boulevard, and was also owner of 8932 Keith Avenue and 827 Hilldale Avenue. Duquette famously kept his studio at 812 Robertson Boulevard, but research did not indicate that he completed any significant work at the other two properties. This property is only partially visible from the public right-of-way. It appears the property retains all aspects of integrity from the period of significance.
