Opportunity

This role represents a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on ’s (FBC) success in building deeper and more strategic relationships with national sales clients. The Senior Vice President of Digital Marketing Solutions is responsible for creating and executing innovative third party marketing opportunities for Fox sales clients, utilizing multiple digital platforms to extend branding across FBC’s consumer-facing footprint, anchored by Fox programming. This individual is the primary liaison with Ad Sales, and as such, is responsible for managing client expectations during campaign delivery, launching new ad products, developing ideas for new and existing ad campaigns as well as evangelizing new opportunities and platforms.

Responsibilities

The Senior Vice President of Digital Marketing Solutions will play a pivotal role with FBC’s business development efforts by developing and executing ideas/solutions with the goal of driving new revenue. This role is both highly strategic, demanding a big picture thinker with a unique and conceptual approach to sales, as well as execution-oriented, requiring a hands- on, “get-it-done mentality.” More specifically, this individual will:

• Create and evangelize cross-platform monetization opportunities with Ad Sales and clients; • Source, secure, manage and fulfill third-party marketing agreements to generate additional revenue as well as utilizing cutting edge technology and various digital platforms to enhance FBC programming; • Demonstrate significant knowledge of digital platforms, including ability to communicate platform requirements on new digital projects in order to maximize monetization potential; • Manage the process to track and to develop FBC responses to RFPs as an input to the Fox sales team; • Create innovative advertising products (including prototypes) for advertisers, with a focus on emerging platforms across web, mobility, social media, VOD and connected TV; • Work across a variety of internal divisions (programming, marketing, digital, social media and publicity) to develop ideas, in conjunction with Ad Sales, to present to clients; • Communicate with external creative agencies on advertising partner requirements and manage delivery execution against those requirements; • Demonstrate creative leadership in the sales effort to develop new concepts that expand the existing advertisers base; • Create sales and marketing presentations that distinctively position Fox as a brand that can be leveraged across varied media platforms to create the most impact for each advertiser; • Manage both internal and external execution teams to deliver quality products in a timely manner.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is an accomplished, reputable media executive with a successful track record at creating substantial revenue growth through the creation and implementation of innovative third-party marketing campaigns across a variety of digital platforms. He/she will bring creativity, digital knowledge, innovation and a consultative approach to the organization and provide a high level of strategic thinking around an integrated digital and multi-platform marketing approach.

Specifically, the ideal candidate will possess:

• 15+ years of some combination of digital media and integrated advertising; • Experience in developing and executing sound integrated marketing solutions across key business categories; • Proven ability to create highly custom digital advertising solutions; • Deep knowledge and passion for digital technology; • A “command presence”, with excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as the ability to speak to a senior level audience with confidence, while deftly discussing all aspects of evolving digital media platforms and how they relate to that specific client; • A reputation for being an enthusiastic, energetic, effective networker who enjoys the selling process and is committed to building relationships and adding credibility for the Company; • A strong customer focus coupled with a sense of urgency for the business, and a passion for delivering the highest level of client service; • Excellent follow-up, strong organizational skills and attention to detail; • Creative mindset and an ability to communicate creative vision.
