Zhigang January 28, 1969 - December 30, 2010

Zhigang Huo was born on January 28, 1969 in Liao Ning province, . His parents were hard workers for oil refinery. He learned early on to become not only self-sufficient, but also skillful in all types of chores. In school, he was on the top of his class academically and had broad interests and a lot of friends. Zhigang came to the U.S. to continue his education after graduating from Tsinghua Univercity in China. He earned the master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering and married his wife Yanli in New Jersey. His priorities had always gravitated toward his wife, children and his parents. He missed his parents in China very much and helped them in every way he can. He meticulously cared and provided for his children and wife, even down to every detail, from car repairs to gardening to cooking. He embraced and sheltered them with his love and hard work. Zhigang and his family moved to Texas in 2006 for a new job. He had a vivacious personality and was always filled with life and energy. He enjoyed playing soccer, skiing, fishing, and watching all kinds of sports. He was especially skillful with computers. However, in spite of these hobbies, his busy life became so stressful to him that he found it was hard to be joyful and at peace with himself. In 2008, he and his family came to Collin County Chinese Fellowship Church (CCCFC). He came to know the Lord and was baptized on November 23rd that year. Since then, he found joy and peace in life through Jesus Christ. Zhigang became even more motivated to study the Scripture, to listen to sermons, and to pray, all of which drove his spiritual growth and desire to spread the gospel. We all witnessed firsthand how his life was transformed by the abundant love and blessing of Jesus Christ. On December 30, 2010, Zhigang passed away in the Plano Medical Center as the result of a catastrophic automobile accident. Zhigang embodied joy, peace, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness to everyone who came to know and be touched by him. He is dearly missed. Now he is resting peacefully in the arms of his precious Lord, Jesus Christ. Memorials
