Travel Info to Ruhr-Universität-Bochum (RUB) Beckmann’s Hof

From Düsseldorf to RUB From Düsseldorf airport please take a train in the direction Bochum, Dortmund or Berlin. From Düsseldorf airport it is a half an hour journey to Bochum’s main station. From there please take tram U35 in direction “Hustadt”. The tram goes to Bochum Ruhr- University in 10 minutes. If you take the local trains (RE, S-Bahn – every 30 minutes; not: IC, ICE) you can buy a ticket from “price category D” (single ticket around 14 Euro, “Tagesticket” for 5 people: 45,50 Euro) for the whole journey. You can buy these tickets at the ticket machine at Düsseldorf airport.

On the RUB Campus On the RUB campus please follow the signs to RUB Beckmann’s Hof: Go out of the tram station and turn right. When you head to the library, leave it on your right side. Go down the stairs left from the library. Cross the Campus center and leave the RUB Audimax to your right. Go further in this direction (to the south, in direction to the Ruhr valley) and go down all stairs left of the Mensa. You will get to a parking place near the gym (CASPO). Head further in south direction and follow the footpath to RUB Beckmanns Hof.
