Dezember 2020 S2-Verlängerung: RMV, Landkreise und Land Hessen stoßen Planungen an Vorstudie von RMV und Landkreisen empfiehlt S-Bahn-Verbindung zwischen Kreis Offenbach und Landkreis Darmstadt-Dieburg / Land Hessen will Planungsvereinbarung mit DB schließen / vor S-Bahn-Verlängerung Halbstundentakt auf Dreieichbahn bis Dieburg geplant Im Rahmen einer umfassenden Vorstudie haben der Rhein-Main- Verkehrsverbund (RMV), der Kreis Offenbach und der Landkreis Darmstadt- Dieburg in mehreren Varianten untersucht, wie die beiden Landkreise per Schiene besser miteinander verknüpft werden können: Favorisiert wird eine Verlängerung der S2 bis Dieburg oder in einer zweiten Variante bis Darmstadt. Zum Abschluss der Vorstudie verständigten sich die Partner mit dem Land Hessen in der „Dietzenbach-Dieburger Erklärung“ darüber, im nächsten Schritt eine Planungsvereinbarung mit der Deutschen Bahn zu treffen. Diese beinhaltet eine Vorplanung sowie die Nutzen-Kosten-Untersuchung der beiden Varianten. Im Rahmen dieser Planungen können dann tiefergehende Untersuchungen zum genauen Streckenverlauf, zur Bautechnik und den Umweltwirkungen durchgeführt sowie die Förderwürdigkeit überprüft werden. Erweisen sich die Vorschläge als förderfähig, wäre eine Realisierung der Verlängerung bis Anfang der 2030er-Jahre denkbar. Variante 1: Verlängerung der S2 bis Dieburg Das beste Verhältnis von Investitionsmitteln zu den zu erwartenden Vorteilen ergibt die Verlängerung der S2 von ihrem Endpunkt in Dietzenbach über die Dreieichbahn nach Dieburg. Rund 4.500 zusätzliche werktägliche Fahrgäste könnten so hinzukommen. Das Konzept beinhaltet eine 3,1 Kilometer lange Neubaustrecke, um die Lücke im Schienennetz zwischen Dietzenbach und Urberach zu schließen. Ab Urberach könnte die S2 dann die vorhandenen Gleise der Dreieichbahn nutzen. Durch Elektrifizierung und Ausbau der Bahnsteige wird in dieser Variante die bestehende Infrastruktur für den S-Bahn-Betrieb ertüchtigt.

    Exploring spatial disparities in residential house prices on a county level in Germany Abstract. In the segmented German residential real estate market, house price levels differ substantially among counties. This thesis explores a variety of drivers that may explain spatial disparities of house prices between German counties. Supply and demand for regional house price levels include different aspects as economic, socio-cultural, infrastructural, real estate, and regulatory drivers. An OLS model is built to investigate the associations with house price levels on a county-level. A distinction is made across space between 16 federal states and 401 German counties. Further, I characterize differences across regions where I pay special attention to a variety of drivers, including the urban-rural sprawl. I find that not all drivers have equal dominance levels for regional house price levels. Findings not only reveal that personal income is positively and average age of the inhabitants is negatively associated with the regional house prices, but also that urban and western counties are positively associated with house prices. In this respect, the situation is very different for the five cities and their regions: (1) Two cities (Hamburg, Dusseldorf) are very dominant and exceed the districts of their respective region in all four per-capita indicators; (2) although Munich is an economically very strong city it is surpassed by some rural districts of its region with respect to productivity and income; (3) Frankfurt as an international banking center has a very productive economy and offers the highest earnings of all major cities but it looses a lot of purchasing power due to the commuting of well earning employees residing in more attractive neighboring communities; (4) the indicators show very small disparities within the Region of Stuttgart which is characterized by the production of cars and other investment goods and insofar differs from the other regions with core cities dominating in business services. Mai 2014 Vorwort Der Flughafen Frankfurt/Main als Deutschlands größtes Luft- verkehrsdrehkreuz hat für die Mobilität und die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung weit über den Regierungsbezirk Darmstadt und Hessen hinaus eine große Bedeutung. Dies führt auf Seiten der betroffenen Wohnbevölkerung jedoch häufig auch zu erhebli- chen Lärmbelastungen. Der Frankfurter Flughafen stellt für die Region daher einerseits einen bedeutsamen wirtschaftlichen Standortfaktor dar, muss andererseits jedoch immer auch den Bedürfnissen der Anwohner auf Erhalt einer lebenswerten Um- welt Rechnung tragen. Der vorliegende Lärmaktionsplan für den Flughafen Frankfurt/Main nimmt eine Auswer- tung der gegenwärtigen und zukünftigen Lärmsituation vor und stellt in Verbindung mit den technischen und rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen Minderungsmaßnahmen dar, die bereits eingeführt wurden oder darüber hinaus derzeit geplant oder geprüft werden. Im Rahmen der Öffentlichkeitsbeteiligung zur Aufstellung des Lärmaktionsplans gingen knapp 11.000 Stellungnahmen ein. Die hohe Beteiligung und die Vielzahl der vorgeschla- genen Lärmminderungsmaßnahmen verdeutlichen den besonderen Stellenwert, den das Thema Fluglärm bei der betroffenen
