These truly are exciting times at University (ECU). Exciting because for the fourth year in a row, ECU received the top undergraduate teaching quality ranking of all public in , according to QILT (Quality Indicators in Learning and Teaching) survey results. Exciting also because ECU has been named in the Times Higher Education as one of the world’s best universities under the age of 50. ECU was granted university status in 1991 and today we have more than 30,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students. We also have one of the most diverse student populations in Australia, with around 6,000 international students from more than 100 countries. Within our comprehensive range of degrees we offer industry-relevant teaching and research, a supportive study environment, and award-winning facilities. It’s an approach that makes ECU an ideal partner for Study Abroad opportunities. We have existing expertise in offering Study Abroad programs that provide enriching academic experiences for international students. Our long-standing relationships with overseas institutions offer students the opportunities to study globally. We are continuing to grow internationally by further creating partnerships and collaborations to extend ECU’s global presence, attracting high performing students and developing recruitment channels in new emerging markets. An example is our successful relationship with City University. Established in 2013, it is now the largest Japanese-Australian student mobility program in the world. Of course, Study Abroad is not just about academic achievement. ECU Study Abroad is also about giving international students the opportunity to experience Australian culture and study in the same environment as a diverse range of students. Ultimately, it’s a global study experience that contributes to making our students world ready. We warmly invite you to join us on this journey and become a valued partner and member of the ECU community.
