Anyone out and about in the pouring rain on Sunday October 4th on the loop between , , Craig y Deryn and may have seen Doris O’Keefe running the Virtual London Marathon for the charity Sense – a charity that helps children and adults living with complex disabilities. The London Marathon was postponed from last April to October 4th and because of current circumstance everyone had to run in their local area rather than congregate in London. On October 4th there were thousands of runners participating in the Virtual London Marathon all over the world. It was tough going but I had amazing support from my friends in Aberdyfi Rowing Club and also Sense is a very worthwhile charity so that kept me going. Although the atmosphere from London was missing and despite horrendous conditions at first, it was great to be running in an area I know well and to have support from my friends- plus quite a few sheep and cows! correct bins. Over the summer many holiday-makers put their David & Gay Richardson rubbish in bins that were not for their accommodation, which led to overflowing bins that were unsightly and unhygienic. This is especially important at this time. Thank you.
