RULES 60% jump performance (40% jumping 20% style) 40% conformation, action & individual style. No change of tack or rider permitted. Protective boots may be worn for jumping phase only.

1. Nursery Novice Working Hunter 1’9” – Not to enter any other Working Hunter class at this show. Riders 12 yrs. and under may be led/assisted. 2. Novice Working Hunter – Fences 1’9” approx... Combination not to have won a class in the past season. 3. Novice Working Hunter – Fences 2’3” approx... Combination not to have won a class in the past season. 4. PLEASE NOTE – SHOW JUMPING The organisers of the Cornwood Horse Show hereby give notice that they will not accept liability for injury to a person or any animal or for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered by any competitor, exhibitor or exhibit in any horse jumping or showing competition or event. All such competitors take part at their own risk and before entering should inspect all course constructions of jumps or obstacles and ground conditions to ensure and satisfy themselves that they are safe.

Rosette for every clear round. Poles may be raised/lowered and riders may be assisted.

HORSE SHOW RULES

It is a condition of entry that competitors have read, understood and agree to abide by all the rules and regulations of the CornwoodHorse Show.

1. The organisers of the CornwoodHorse Show will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone present must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards. 2. The organisers of the CornwoodHorseShow hereby give notice that they will not accept liability for injury to a person or any animal or for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered by any competitor, exhibitor or exhibit in any horse jumping or showing competition or event. All such competitors take part at their own risk and before entering should inspect all course constructions of jumps or obstacles and ground conditions to ensure and satisfy themselves that they are safe. 3. Verbal or physical abuse toward any person or animal will not be tolerated. This includes the misuse of whips and spurs as judged by the HorseShow secretary or judges. 4. Horse transport is to be parked where designated and moved immediately if required. 5. It is a condition of entry that all persons whilst mounted wear fastened hard hats and purpose designed footwear conforming to British Safety Standards. 6. It is strongly recommended that leaders wear hard hats and purpose designed footwear and gloves conforming to British Safety Standards and that body protectors be worn in all classes involving jumping and gymkhana activities. 7. Jackets to be worn in the show jumping rings unless permission from the judges is obtained. 8. Perpetual cups are to be returned in good condition by 30 July 2018. 9. No horse or pony under 4 years may be shown under saddle. 10. Riders in any classes must be 3 years of age and over. 11. Only in show jumping classes may a competitor enter more than one mount.

Closing date for advance entries - Thursday 23rd August 2018. Entries will also be takenon the day.

ENTRY FEES Advance Entry–Classes 1 to28£5 per class, on Show Day - £6 per class. Classes29to 36£3advance, on Show Day £3.50 per class. Every competitor will be required to pay a £2 FirstAid contribution.
