The Para-Sport Survey 2017 had the following purposes: ✓ Promote Para-Sport and sensitize member nations to the importance of the topic; ✓ Obtain data about Para-Sport activities in the member nations; ✓ Enhance visibility of national initiatives; ✓ Coordinate efforts on national levels and the CISM level; ✓ Assist member nations with planning and implementing Para- Sport initiatives; ✓ Create a database for mutual learning; and ✓ Explore future role of CISM in Para-Sport with member nations. 1) Military sports performance – A CISM Sport Science Commission Member participated of the 64th World Military Pentathlon Championship and produced a supporting research to increase female practice in Military Pentathlon.
2)Military operational readiness – two members from CISM Family received the awards granted by OC of the 4th International Congress on Soldiers' Physical Performance. Please consider that more than 300 abstracts were submitted and only six awards were offered. Awards to CISM Members

- The first edition of the CISM Science Symposium will be held in 2019 (in the first half of 2019 / different semester of the 7th WMG in China). - Ecuador and Oman are confirmed candidates to host the 2019 CISM Science Symposium - Greece sent its intention but not yet a formal candidature - CISM Science Symposium will be an official event in the CISM Calendar in every third year.
GOAL - All science knowledge will be shared at the CISM Science Symposium CISM HQ
• 1 vacancy in 2017 – filled in • Feb/march 2018 : 3 vacancies – 3 candidates received – interviews during the 2nd week of November • End 2019 : 2 vacancies: – Winter and Cadets World Games project Manager (1 position) – Assistant sports director – MWC Manager (1 position) – I hope that Europen Nations can come up with candidates for both positions 2019 CONCLUSIONS
