Facebook was founded in February 2004, by college student Mark Zuckerberg. • It is a social utility that helps people communicate more efficiently with their friends, family and coworkers. • The company develops technologies that facilitate the sharing of information through the social graph, the digital mapping of people's real-world social connections. • Anyone can sign up for Facebook and interact with the people they know in a trusted environment. Facebook is a part of millions of people’s lives and half of the users return daily.

History: • Initially Facebook was set up as an exclusive network for Harvard students. Within 2 weeks, half of the schools in the Boston area began demanding a Facebook network. • Zuckerberg immediately recruited his friends Dustin Moskowitz and Chris Hughes to help build Facebook. • Within four months, Facebook added 30 more college networks.

Female profiles seem to work better than male. Step 3: Use the profile, upload images, news links, check in at locations etc. Step 4: Search for people of interest. (i.e. drug gangs, pedophiles etc.) in order to “Friend” them. Step 5: Block younger profiles from your profile, UNLESS that is your target demographic. Instagram Instagram
