Calendar Update: The 'O' Club meeting date will be on Tuesday, November 12th at 7 p.m .

Youth Choir & Workshop: We welcome Nina Radonovich and the St. Sava Youth Choir from St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Steelton! Following fellowship (concurrent with our annual meeting) there will be a youth choir workshop with our special guests. All parish youth are encouraged to come over to the sanctuary for this special singing workshop. Nora Lubecki will also be recruiting children for CTS Children's Choir, and the Three Holy Youth Choir.

Icon Painting "In Progress" : Fr. Theodore arrived this past Monday and has begun working on our newest phase of iconography. He is staying in the church basement, so please try to allow him as much privacy as possible (with the exceptions of needing to use the restrooms during scheduled services, Wednesday choir rehearsal, and use for Church School on Sunday), Thank you! Please note that over the next three weeks we will have some scaffolding in the sanctuary; please take caution, especially with children.

IOCC Sunday ~ A Day of Sharing: On Sunday, Nov 24 th a special offering will take place for the IOCC charities. Since 1992, the IOCC has provided $438 million in services to some of the world’s most vulnerable people in more than 50 counties. “ If anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him?” (1 John 3:16) For more information please visit IOCC.org.

Thanksgiving Food Baskets for the Needy: We are once again collecting food items (dry goods, turkeys, and Giant gift cards) to be distributed to our neighbors in need this coming season. Please place non-perishable items (please check the expiration dates) in the vestibule, and perishable items in the refrigerators or freezers in the hall basement by Sunday, November 24th. Gift Cards should be given to vestryperson in the parish office. Thank you for your generosity!

St. Mary’s Altar Guild Fellowship Hour Schedule : Parishioners are asked to help by bringing at least 48 servings of items, such as: soup, fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, bagels or bread, baked goods and to serve them during their assigned fellowship hour. St. Nicholas Event at Agia Sophia : On Friday, December 6th there will be a special event for children K 4th at Agia Sophia. Activities include a special reading of "Colin's Christmas Candle", a "visit" from St. Nicholas, as well as a small present for all the children who attend. Advent Spiritual Retreat: Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Lancaster, PA is hosting an Advent Retreat on Saturday, Dec 7 th from 9am to 1pm. The featured speaker is acclaimed Author of Mountain of Silence, Gifts of the Desert, and Inner River. Kyriakos C. Markides will speak on “ Rediscovering Orthodox Spirituality in the Modern World” .
