RE: Notices of Payment Default and Imminent Disconnection of Local Service - Pennsylvania

Dear Secretary Chiavetta:

By two letters, each dated June 21, 2010, Verizon Pennsylvania Inc. (Verizon) notified Comcast Phone of Pennsylvania. LLC and Comcast Business Communications, LLC respectively, that each of the two Comcast entities was in default of bill payment obligations to Verizon under applicable interconnection agreements and tariffs. The letters stated that absent timely payment. Verizon would suspend processing of Comcast service orders and/or would terminate all services provided under an applicable interconnection agreement, on or after September 8, 2010.

By a series of previous letters Verizon informed the Commission that by mutua! agreement the parties had extended the date for any such termination notices, the most recent date being September 15, 2011. By this letter Verizon informs the Commission that by mutual agreement the parties have extended the date for any such termination notices to October I 7, 20! I.
