ﻗﺎل ﷲ ﺗﻌﺎﱃ: (وا ْذ ﻗَ َﺎل ﻟُ ْﻘﻤ ُﺎن ِﻻﺑْ ِﻨ ِﻪ و ُﻫﻮ ﯾَ ِﻌ ُﻈ ُﻪ َ ﺑُ َﲏ َﻻ ُ ْ ِﴩ ْك ِ ِ ا ن اﻟ ِّ ْﴩ َك ﻟَ ُﻈ ْ ٌﲅ َﻋ ِﻈ ٌﲓ - َ َ َ َ وو ﺻﯿﻨَﺎ ْاﻻ ﺴ َﺎن ِﺑ ﻮ ِ َا ﯾْ ِﻪ َ َﲪﻠَ ْﺘ ُﻪ ﻣ ُﻪ و ْﻫﻨًﺎ َ َﲆ و ْﻫ ٍﻦ وِﻓ َﺼ ُ ُﺎ ِﰲ َ َﺎﻣ ْ ِﲔ ِن ْاﺷ ُﻜﺮ ِﱄ وِﻟﻮ ِ َا ﯾْ َﻚ ا َﱄ َ َ ْ َ َ َ ٰ َ َ ْ َ َ اﻟْ َﻤ ِﺼ ُﲑ - َوان َ َﺎﻫ َﺪ َاك َ َٰﲆ ن ُ ْ ِﴩ َك ِﰊ َﻣﺎ ﻟَ ْ َﺲ َ َ ِﺑ ِﻪ ِ ْ ٌﲅ ﻓَ َﻼ ﺗُ ِﻄ ْﻌ َﻬُﻤﺎ َو َﺻ ِﺎﺣ ْﳢُ َﻤﺎ ِﰲ ا ﻧْ َﯿﺎ َﻣ ْﻌﺮوﻓًﺎ واﺗ ِﺒ ْﻊ ﺳِ َ ﻞ َﻣ ْﻦ َ َب ا َﱄ ُ ﰒ ا َﱄ َﻣﺮ ِﺟ ُﻌ ُ ْﲂ ﻓَ ﻧَِ ّ ُ ُﲂ ِﺑﻤﺎ ُﻛﻨﱲُ ﺗَ ْﻌﻤﻠُ َﻮن - َ ﺑُ َﲏ ا ﳖَﺎ ان ﺗَ ُﻚ ُ َ َ ْ َ ْ َ ِﻣ ْ َﻘ َﺎل َﺣ ٍﺔ ِّﻣ ْﻦ َﺧﺮ َد ٍل ﻓَ َ ُﻜﻦ ِﰲ َ ْﲲﺮٍة و ِﰲ اﻟﺴﻤﺎو ِات و ِﰲ ْ ا ر ِض ﯾَ ِت ِﲠَﺎ ُا ا ن َا ْ َ ْ َ َ ْ ْ ﻟَ ِﻄ ٌﯿﻒ َﺧ ٌ ِﲑ - َ ﺑُ َﲏ ِﻗﻢ اﻟﺼ َﻼ َة و ُﻣﺮ ِ ﻟْﻤ ْﻌﺮ ِوف واﻧْ َﻪ َﻋ ِﻦ اﻟْﻤ َﻨﻜ ِﺮ و ْاﺻِ ْﱪ َ َﲆ َﻣﺎ َﺻﺎﺑَ َﻚ ا ن ِ َ ْ َ ُ َ ُ َ ٰ َذ ِ َ ِﻣ ْﻦ َﻋ ْﺰم ْ ا ُﻣ ِﻮر - وَﻻ ﺗُ َﺼ ِّﻌﺮ َ ﺪ َك ِ ﻠﻨ ِﺎس وَﻻ ﺗَﻤ ِﺶ ِﰲ ْ ا ر ِض َﻣﺮ ً ﺎ ۖ ا ن َا َﻻ ُ ِﳛ ﺐ ُ ﰻ ِ َ ْ َ ْ ْ َ ُﻣ ْﺨﺘَ ٍﺎل ﻓَ ٍﺨُﻮر - و ْاﻗ ِﺼ ْﺪ ِﰲ َﻣ ْﺸ ِﯿ َﻚ و ْاﻏ ُﻀ ْﺾ ِﻣﻦ َﺻﻮِﺗ َﻚ ا ن َ ﻜﺮ ْ ا ْﺻﻮ ِات ﻟَ َﺼﻮ ُت اﻟْ َﺤ ِﻤ ِﲑ ) َ َ ْ َ َ ْ “And (re member) when Luqman said to his son when he was advising him: "O my son! Do not worship others along with Allah. Verily, joining others in worship with Allah is a great Zulm (wrong/oppression) indeed. And We have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and good) to his parents. His mother bore him in weakness and hardship upon weakness and hardship, and his weaning is in two years - give thanks to Me and to your parents. To Me is the final destination. But if they (both) strive with you to make you join in worship wi th Me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not; but behave with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who turns to Me in repentance and in obedience. Then to Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what you used to do. "O my son! If it be (anything) equal to the weight of a grain of mustard seed, and though it be in a rock, or in the heavens or in the earth, Allah will bring it forth. Verily, Allah is Subtle (in bringing out that grain), Well - Acquainted (with its pl ace). "O my son! Aqim -As -Salat (perform/establish the prayer), enjoin (on people) Al -Ma'ruf -(Islamic Monotheism and all that is good), and forbid (people) from Al - Munkar(i.e.disbelief in the Oneness of Allah, polytheism of all kinds and all that is evil an d bad), and bear with patience whatever befalls you. Verily, these are some of the important commandments (order by Allah with no exemption). "And turn not your face away from men with pride, nor walk in insolence through the earth. Verily, Allah likes not any arrogant coaster. "And be moderate (or show no insolence) in your walking, and lower your voice. Verily, the happiest of all voices is the braying of the donkeys" (Luqman 31: 13 -19)
