Brief Description of the Program Centre for Human Rights Studiei University of Surabayaor known as CHRS rJbaya is a study center and part of the Institute of Researchand Community Service of University of Surabaya.CHRS Ubaya conducts researches, training, dissemination,and advocacy on human rights. This is in order to develop human rights with the ability to honor, respect,and uphold human rights, democracy,and justice regardlessto differencesin sex, age,race' tribe, religion, socialand economicstatus, ability, and political interest.

CHRS Ubaya is one of the leading human rights study centersin Indonesia.In East Java Province, CHRS Ubaya has also supported provincial government on drafting regulation and public policies, particularly related to children and women. CHRS Ubaya was also founded the Union of Human Rights Lecturers / Researchersor Ser ikatP engaj ar/P enelitiHakAsas iManusia or known as Sepahamsince 20 I 0.

In this Academic Exchange program, discussionson corruption, transparencyand freedom of expressionare still neededto be disseminatedamong academics,particularly studentsand lecturers.Also, the topic of discussions will broadenacademics perspectives based on humanrights.
