Abstract

Limited parking space at public service locations has become a problem for the community. This is due to the limited number of public vehicles connecting to crowded places. This limitation is part of the development of cities in every country. The city is a central central business district (CBD) which has these parking problems. This also happened in Indonesia. One of the problems with public facilities related to limited parking space is the parking capacity of the train station. This limitation makes the user

community have its own assessment according to their needs. This study aims to determine the behavior of parking users available at Gubeng Station, Surabaya. The methodology is carried out by means of a field survey. The hope of this research is that there is a parking location available that is comfortable, appropriate, safe and environmentally friendly.

Sri Wiwoho Mudjanarko, Starting his career in construction services since 1991, since 2000 he has worked as a Lecturer in Civil Engineering at Narotama University, Surabaya and as an Extraordinary Lecturer in the Master of Civil Engineering at the 17 August 1945 . Diploma III Civil Engineering at Petra Christian University, Surabaya, Undergraduate Civil Engineering Narotama University, Surabaya, Magister Civil Engineering at Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Surabaya, Doctoral Civil Engineering at Brawijaya University, , Engineering Professional Program (Ir) Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) and in the professional field of Railways. The author is currently serving as the Chancellor of Narotama University, the Head of the Narotama University LPPM, a member / professional committee of the Inter-College Transportation Study Forum (FSTPT), the Indonesian Railroad Society (MASKA) and the Chair of the LPPM Association in Surabaya and its surroundings. He has been awarded Research Grants from the Government of Indonesia on various schemes since 2009 until now.

Dadang Supriyatno, is a Lecturer / Supervisor, Departement of Civil Engineering, Narotama University, Surabaya Indonesia. Mr. Dadang Supriyatno holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineeering degree in Civil Engineering from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, a Master of Construction Management degree in Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember dan a Doctor of Civil Engineering degree in , Indonesia. He has been recognized as a professional railroad management consultant with more than 20 years of working experience in a tightly held business. He is a member of the Indonesian Railway Society (MASKA) Indonesia.

Joewono Prasetijo is a lecturer at UTHM. Education that has been taken is Doctorate Of Falsafah Traffic Engineering Ruhr - Universitat Bochum, German. Undergraduate (S1) Science In Road Engineering Ihe-Delft University Of Tech., Holand . Diploma Transportation And Road Engineering For Development Ihe-Delft University Of Tech., Holand.. Diploma Engineering University Of Tanjungpura Indonesia.

Slamet Winardi is a senior lecturer at the Universitas Narotama. He is born in the city of Semarang on August 3, 1971, received his advanced education in ITS Control System, graduating in 2003. Now he is pursuing the Internet of Things, especially IoT transportation. The latest achievement resulted in a patent, 2 brands, more than 21 copyrights, and 9 books from a research funded by Ristek Dikti. Concentration in their field by forming an IoT community which is named the Indonesian Internet of Things which is abbreviated as Id-iot.

Rizal Bahaswan, is a lecture at Civil Engineering Department, Narotama University Surabaya, Indonesia. He graduated from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya with degree of Bachelor of Engineering (ST.) from Ocean Engineering Department in year of 2002. He continued to study at Hogeshool Van Arnhem en Nijmegen, the Netherland and graduated with a degree of Master of Science (MSc.) in Construction Management in 2005. He has been involved in many Civil Engineering projects especially in construction management related expertise ever since.
