ABOUT THE CONTEST L ACE FOR The Wonderland Award is an annual multidisciplinary competition E P A S that encourages new scholarship and creative work related to TH N T AR , the English logician, mathematician, photographer, S K nonsense poet, and author of Alice’s JU ! and its sequel Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There. The contest encourages the use of the Cassady Lewis Carroll Collection, held in Doheny Library at USC.

The format for Wonderland Award entries is limited only by the imagination. We accept a broad range of submissions, including performance pieces, scholarly essays, poems, videogames, visual

artworks, animation, music, digital compositions, and films.

W W work of Lewis Carroll. Included are works Carroll inscribed to S O I

R L friends, books from Carroll’s own library, copies of Carroll’s work D from ’s library, limited collectors editions, and most works by major illustrators of the Alice stories.

First editions of early translations into German, French, and Italian, and important bibliographic and biographical works stand side-by-side with signed copies of movie scripts, playbills from stage adaptations, Victorian-era playing cards, and pop- AWARD up books.
