Suzanne, Michael, Mark, Jim and Keefe

By Jim Seibel un, fun, fun! That’s what it’s all about for the Just 4 FFun band. “Get a Life” sure isn’t a problem for Keefe Morabito, Suzanne Bannan, and Mark Rigsby, who most Landings residents know from the golf shop. By day they take care of our golfi ng needs. By night they transform into members of a band called “Just 4 Fun.” And then there’s the usually laid back Michael Goodwin, our Food and Beverage Director, who also recently joined the band. He’s a hoot. The lead guitarist is Jim Dean. Keefe plays bass guitar, Michael plays rhythm guitar, Mark is the drummer, and Suzanne shakes a tambourine as she wiggles and jiggles to the beat of the music. Everybody sings, sometimes solos and sometimes all together. Everybody has their own mike (except for Suzanne who doesn’t need one). Ha Ha. The genre (country, hip hop, jazz, new age, reggae, pop, rock) changes unpredictably at a beat of the drum . However, actually, the bands’ real style specialty seems to be “LOUD.” “Anthony’s On The Blvd” is in Cape Coral and not far from the other side of the bridge. The band performs at Anthony’s on Wed. evenings from 6 to 10. The entertainment is at the outside bar, free and great -- and the food at Anthony’s is really reasonably priced and delicious -- just like at The Landings. Oh ya, and there’s a really big dance fl oor too. Oh what fun the band and their audience do have. Whereas most of us are accustomed to Suzanne “hamming it up”, seeing this other side of old Keefe, Michael and Mark last night sure was a fun surprise. Do give it a try.
