Dewi Villa is situated in Capel Dewi, a beautiful and secluded village in the River Clettwr Valley, surrounded by wildlife, riverbanks, woodlands, country lanes and stone bridges. The area also has a wide and exciting range of activities and attractions to enjoy. Flatlet ‘Whether it’s a fishing trip or a country break with my wife (and 2 reasonably well behaved dogs) I have no hesitation in recommending Sue Andrews and Dewi Villa. Always a warm welcome and after regular trips for years [since around 2008] I consider it as my second home.’

• Head north on the A40 bypass towards LLANDEILO and HOSPITAL, Carmarthen town is on your left

• At the roundabout signposted LAMPETER (left) and Llandeilo (right), turn LEFT onto the A485

• At the next roundabout, with Hospital (left) and LAMPETER (right), turn RIGHT to stay on the A485

• Drive for 7 miles until ALLTWALIS, pass through and do not try and overtake on the hill (windy and steep!)

• At the top of Alltwalis hill, just after the petrol station on your right, turn LEFT for PENCADER onto the B4459. Pass through Pencader

• Stay on the B4459. In LLANFIHANGEL-AR-ARTH, 1 mile from Pencader, stop at the crossroads and drive STRAIGHT OVER

Directions from Llandovery - 31 miles

• Drive west through/out of Llandovery on the A40, pass the Railway Station and over the River Towy

• Keep on the A40 for 4 miles, turn RIGHT for LAMPETER onto the A482 (passing through Llanwrda)

• Keep on the A482 for 16 miles until reaching Lampeter, turn left at the mini- roundabout (straight on as the crow flies) onto the A475

• Keep on the A475 for 9 miles, pass through CWMSYCHPANT then down a steep hill to RHYDOWEN

• As the hill begins to flatten, turn left at the crossroads for CAPEL DEWI onto the B4459, there is an antique shop and red phone box on the right

• DEWI VILLA is 2 miles away in CAPEL DEWI, on the right side of the road and before the stone bridge. There is a red post box outside

Directions from Aberystwyth - 32.5 miles

• At Synod Inn, turn LEFT and IMMEDIATELY LEFT again, towards LLANYBYDDER on the B4338

• In 1.5 miles stay on the B4338, follow the road to the right, DON’T turn left

• 1 mile to TALGARREG, pass straight through

• In 3.5 miles, in PONTSIAN, turn LEFT towards RHYDOWEN (B4459) at the convenience shop

• Pass the school, then stop at the crossroads in half a mile, drive straight over towards CAPEL DEWI onto the B4459
