Use space as a proactive mean for economic developments and international diplomacy

3 Main elements of the strategy

{ Keep and improve the present Italian position in Deep and Near Space Observation

{ Stimulate the growing of technological centers of excellence in Italy between SMEs, Universities and Research Centers in sinergy with big companies

{ Promote the creation of Public Private Partnership (PPP) for big national space projects

{ Develop useful integrated applications including Observation, radiolocalization/navigation and Telecomunications

4 Strategic tools

{ Playing adequate roles in international partmership

{ Driving exploration through use of ISS and via the ExoMars missions

{ Giving priority to dual-use programs

{ Exploiting use of PPP as a means to enhance economic resource availability

{ Promoting a national culture of awareness and involvement in space

5 Guidelines of European International Policy

{ Maintain a very close cooperation with the (Italian contribution 50% of the annual budget)

{ Support ESA role as Agency for European Space Policies

{ Be an active player in all EU activities relevant to space
