6 MEDISCA HAIR CARE CASE STUDIES

In order to determine the efficacy of ADA™ Shampoo, case studies were conducted on volunteers suffering from dandruff. For this study, participants were asked to avoid the use of any other hair care treatments fordandruff (including but not limited to capsules, tablets, lotions, shampoos, and foams) for 48 hours before the first application, and throughout the entire study period.

RESULTS | VOLUNTEER 1 Caucasian female after one month of using ADA Shampoo once every two days. Flakiness is less apparent and scalp is less irritated.

Compounding with salicylic acid has always been a challenge due to the process needed to solubilize the powder in a water-based product. Now, with this advancement from MEDISCA, these difficulties will be a thing of the past.Salicylic Acid Solution 50% is a unique water-soluble form of salicylic acid developed to ensure an elegant pharmaceutical compounded formulation.

As the most important beta hydroxy acid (BHA) used for skin and hair care, salicylic acid is commonly prescribed by physicians to treat acne, rosacea, psoriasis, dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. This impressive ready-to-use solution eliminates the need for alcohol to compound a preparation, and will solubilize in less than 15 seconds which will free up your time and improve efficiency. When following formulas calling for pure salicylic acid powder, simply use twice the amount of solution to achieve the same final concentration.
