From [email protected] ([email protected]) To [email protected] Cc [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] Subject VS: Case No 73469 - PSO routes in Norway Body Dear Sigrid,

We apologize for the inconsistency in table 1. The headline in all the tables should have been "SCAT-1" instead of "satellite system" since question 6 (v) was "whether and at what time SCAT-1 was installed/operational at the airports in question".

Attached you will find the updated table 1. We have now included installation of EGNOS and Baro-VNAV in the table – as requested in your e-mail of 5 April. I hope this will help you to understand the facts correctly.

Kind regards

Dear Mr. Foss,

Reference is made to the Ministry’s reply of 29 January 2016 to the Authority’s request for information in the above case.

In Enclosure 1, you attached a table detailing the airports at which satellite navigation systems had been installed. We note that for the 2012 tender procedure, the table lists the airports which operate the SCAT-1 system. However, for the following tender procedures, including the upcoming tender for , the table lists the airports at which a “satellite system” has been installed, without specifying whether the satellite system refers to SCAT-1, EGNOS or Baro-VNAV (or whether two or more of these systems are installed).

Please also mark in yellow which satellite system(s) a bidder could in the past tender rely on and will be able to rely on (and thus satisfy the relevant tender requirements) in the upcoming tender for Northern Norway, for each airport.

We kindly ask for your reply as soon as possible and at the latest by 19 April 2016.

Please contact Stefan Mahoney or myself should you have any questions to the above.
