The Times Floating Newsroom Assistant September 2019 - Present | New York, New York As a floating newsroom assistant for the New York Times, I help different desks by vetting ​ ​ suggestions, researching stories and contributing reporting. Along with fact-checking articles and [email protected] posting on social media channels, I also pitch my own stories and work on special projects, as needed. In the past year I’ve written pieces for Metro, Arts, Styles, National, Business, Obituaries, Times Insider, Smarter Living and two of The Times’ Special Sections. 9/11 Memorial & Museum Education Communications Intern June 2019 - August 2019 | New York, New York | May 2019 As the communications intern I produced content for the 9/11 Memorial & Museum’s website, B.A. in English, Rhetoric & Global Cultures blog and social media accounts and identified new mediums for storytelling. I also tracked clips, Honors: Summa Cum Laude (GPA: 3.96/4.00), assisted in all facets of on-site filming and supervised various projects that took place on the Vasilew Award in Rhetoric, Dean’s List Memorial and within the Museum.
