Union-Endicott Central School District Endicott, NY 1999 – 2005 Assistant Superintendent for Instruction Instructional Leadership for 7 schools, 4600 students, and over 350 professional staff members. Major responsibilities include: hiring, supervision, professional development, and evaluation of administrators; leadership of district planning and policy development; staff development including mentoring of new teachers and best practice implementation, writing and management of grants; student assessment and data analysis; report to Board of Education and public; curriculum development; facilities planning and implementation.

1990-1999 Director of Elementary Education Instructional Leadership for 5 schools, 2600 students, and over 200 professional staff members. Major responsibilities include: hiring, supervision, professional development and evaluation of administrators; curriculum development; instructional improvement; student assessment and data analysis; professional development; academic intervention, shared decision-making teams at district and building levels; facilities planning and implementation.

1984 - 1990 Elementary Principal Leadership of a K-6 School with 350 students and over 45 staff members. Responsibilities included: implementing new teacher evaluation system, implementing shared decision-making team, focus on early childhood initiative, fund-raising and community building of school playground.

1973 – 1984 Reading Teacher Teacher leadership position serving struggling readers. Responsibilities included: collaborating with classroom and special educators, providing professional development, curriculum development, assessment and analysis, grant writing.
