for problem gambling, alcoholism and substance abuse, as well as follow-up calls 48 hours later for those who wish to be contacted. The program is based on the premise that some recovering people need an alcohol/substance free environment in a supportive setting. While self-help is the cornerstone of the program, a trained staff is available to assist residents in the transition from dependence on alcohol and other substances to a substance free lifestyle. All members of the program must attend an outpatient program which is coordinated with the service plan offered at Arbor House. The length of stay is usually 6-9 months. Supportive Apartments - Graduates of Arbor House have the opportunity to transition into a two bed apartment if they feel the need for continued support in recovery. The apartment program provides counseling, support, and on-call assistance. The length of stay is usually around one year. Group counseling includes education, relapse prevention, women's group, early recovery, men's group, young adults group and dual focus group. In addition, COCOAA offers vocational/education services and provides tobacco cessation counseling. The agency also works with the Oswego County Drug Court program. This certified treatment program accepts Medicaid and various forms of private health insurance and also provides a sliding fee scale for qualified patients. Customized Alcohol and Other Drug Professional & Staff Development Programs. Screening and Referral Consultations - Screenings, assessments and supportive short-term counseling are provided to individuals in referring to the appropriate level of care. Social Media accounts and online presence providing accurate alcohol and addiction information directly to county residents. Project U-Turn This program is designed for under-age youths who have been charged with DWI, DWAI or any other zero-tolerance related offense. It is provided in cooperation with the Oswego County STOP-DWI. This program is a client-fee supported series of two, 3-hour sessions. Project U-Turn is an OASAS approved Alcohol Awareness Program for youth. Project Intervention: This program is designed for non-violent first-time drug offenders aged 25 and younger that are charged
