Chairperson's announcements Future of TEN-T funding Decision: Invite the Commission, DG Move, to debate the different proposals for the future funding of TEN-T and on this basis prepare a working paper under the responsibility of the Chair that could be discussed in committee and with the other relevant committees. Comitology Vice-President Ticau mentioned the GNSS draft Work Programme 2011; the follow- up depends on the ITRE Committee's further deliberations. Any other business For information The Coordinators had in their dossier the exchange of letters between the LIBE and TRAN Chairs regarding the requests by LIBE to be joined to the own-initiative report on "Aviation security with a special focus on security scanners" (Rule 51). The dossier will be submitted to the Conference of Presidents for decision. Meetings with all TRAN Members Meeting with the Central Commission of the Rhine in Strasbourg on Wednesday, 19 January 2011, at 14.00 -16.00 for all interested Members; Extraordinary TRAN meeting on Monday, 14 February 2011 at 19.00 - 20.30 in Strasbourg: Meeting with Vice-President Kallas on the outcome of the informal Council meeting on TEN-T. For information: Ms Ticau as TRAN representative for the STOA Panel informed the Coordinators on the Annual STOA Conference on eco-mobility on 7 December 2010. The Rapporteur on Eurovignette, Mr El Khadraoui, informed the Coordinators on his exploratory talks with the Belgian Presidency. The Council position will be transmitted to Parliament by mid-February 2011. The Rapporteur will meet the Shadow Rapporteurs on 7 December to define the crucial points for the informal negotiations with Council starting in January 2011. He will report back to the full committee in January. The Coordinators approved this approach. 9. Appointment of rapporteurs Regulation amending Regulation (EC) N° 1406/2002 establishing a European Maritime Safety Agency -COM(2010)0611 PV\840975EN.doc 3/10 PE454.420v01-00 EN Decision: The S&D group will nominate the Rapporteur. Opinion Proposal for a Directive amending Directive 2000/25/EC as regards the provisions for tractors placed on the market under the flexibility scheme - COM(2010)0607 Decision: Ms Sehnalova will take over this opinion as this amending Directive follows the same logic as that for the non-mobile road machinery for which Ms Sehnalova was nominated Rapporteur for opinion. Communication from the Commission: Towards a Single Market Act for a highly competitive social market economy - 50 proposals for improving our work, business and exchanges with one another -COM(2010)0608 Decision: Following the letter of the IMCO Chair, Mr Harbour inviting the TRAN Committee to submit an opinion on those legislative proposals falling within our exclusive competence, the Coordinators agreed to the Chair's suggestion to submit our opinion in the format of a letter from the Chair to Mr Harbour integrating possible comments by the Coordinators; this procedure is the only possibility to respect the vote in the IMCO Committee which is foreseen for end of February 2011. Zugleich deutet er Perspekti- ven für die künftige Schwerpunktsetzung des Zentrums an. In deutlichem Kontrast zur allgemeinen wirtschaftlichen Konjunktur verzeich- nete das ZZF im wissenschaftlichen Bereich ein kontinuierliches quantitatives und qualitatives Wachstum. Die Zahl der Mitarbeiter ist nach der Bewilligung von mehr als 30 Projekten durch die Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, die Fritz Thyssen Stiftung, die Gerda Henkel Stiftung, die Volkswagen-Stiftung sowie die Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung und die Stiftung Aufarbeitung der SED- Diktatur auf 32 angewachsen.
