Zeta Tau Chapter: University of Georgia
In order to become a member of a Lambda Pi Eta chapter, the you must
* Have completed at least 60 semester hours in college;
* Have a completed at least 12 semester hours of communication study
* Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0;
* Have a communication studies GPA of at least 3.25;
* Currently enrolled as a student in good standings;
* Display commitment to the field of communication
Once a student is inducted into Lambda Pi Eta, he or she is a member for life. If a member were to no longer hold the academic requirements for membership (such as falling below a cumulative 3.0 GPA), the student may not be removed from the Society.

Once you have turned in the application form and your information is confirmed, you will be notified.
Membership Fees:
Upon notification of acceptance, your one-time only fee payment of $40 (to cover the cost of your membership materials: certificate, member pin, and graduation honor cords) is due within 10 business days. Please make your check out to UGA.
Induction Ceremony
There will be a ceremony at the end of Fall and Spring semesters. New members will receive an invitation with more details.
